2010 NATIONAL RECRUITING CHAMPIONSHIP

BATON ROUGE, Louisiana - After evaluating over 60 college teams, I am pleased to announce my current weekend update of the 2010 Top 27 Teams in the Country in Recruiting.

FEBRUARY 12, 2010 UPDATE

Although there has been a few surprises on NSD, no team in the country has moved up so much as the Southern Cal Trojans. By getting WR Markeith Ambles, TE Christian Thomas, and Super JUCO LB Glen Stanley, the Trojans have passed both Florida and Texas and now look poised and ready to win the 2010 National Recruiting Championship. The Trojans only have 19 recruits, but 12 of their recruits are rated a Six Star Rating.

With the accumalation of 16 Six Star Players, like DE Ronald Powell, DT Sharrif Floyd, CB Jaylen Watkins, DE Lyndon Trail, CB Cody Riggs, OT Chaz Green, FS Matt Elam, CB Josh Shaw, DE Dominique Easley, and CB Cody Riggs, the Florida Gators have one of the most unbelievable recruiting classes of any team in recent memory, but at the present, they will finish in the #2 spot behind the USC Trojans.

With an impressive seven Parade All-Americans, including DE Jackson Jeffcoat, who is my #1 player in the country, and then also LB Jordan Hicks, RB Traylon Shead, WR Darius White, WR Darius Terrell, DT Taylor Bible, and ATH Demarco Cobbs, the Longhorns have been able to maintain a #3 spot in the 2010 National Recruiting Championship race. I believe that this amazing recruiting class by the Longhorns is the best Recruiting Class that Coach Mack Brown has ever had iwith Longhorns.

On Saturday before NSD, the LSU Tigers made up some ground in getting a verbal from Armand Williams who was the AABG Offensive Game MVP and on NSD, the Tigers finished even stronger as they got super athlete Jarrett Fobbs, and two super defensive linemen in J.R. Ferguson, who is one of the top Prep School defensive linemen in the country and DT J.C. Copeland who was committed to Tennessee.

The Tennessee Vols have also made some noise by getting verbals away from LSU for WR Justin Hunter, from Oklahoma for SS Eldrick Lofton, from South Alabama for AABG Defensive Game MVP LB Martaze Jackson, and Vanderbilt for QB Nash Nance, as they have moved  from #11 to a #7 spot behind #4 Alabama. On NSD, the Vols also picked up Da'Rick Rogers who was committed to Georgia and massive lineman James Stone

The Seminoles had a huge NSD as they signed LB Christian Jones, CB Lamarcus Joiner, MLB Jeff Luc, plus two AABG Super Stars: TE Will Tye and LB Nigel Terrell.
